Chad & I have been happily married for 5 years. Carlee is our 3 year old daughter who fills our days with something new. (Kids are so smart). We have 2 dogs Amos (lab), & Abby (pekingese). And yes I still have my moms cat Sheba. He is about 13 years old. Chad says we have a petting zoo at our house :) We enjoy hanging out with our friends and their kids. Carlee is the only girl in the group of kids. She is going to be a tough chick!!

Back seat driver

So my sweet 2 1/2 year old has become a GREAT & OBNOXIOUS back seat driver!!! Every time we are in the car she tells me were to turn, when to go, ETC... When we are at a stop light she says "Go mommy Go" over and over. So Chad & I have tried to teach her that the green light means GO, the red light means STOP, and the yellow light means GO FASTER. Even when we are going through a drive thru and there is a car in front of us she says "Go mommy Go". We've tried to explain we have to wait our turn. So every once in a while when we are waiting she says "Wait our turn" KIDS!!!!

  2. How funny! Addi used to be like that too and we also used the green means go and red means stop. It worked pretty good. Every now and again she'll make a comment about the driving, now she just talks, talks, talks :)

  3. Enjoy having just one kid in the car, aaah the good old days. Now all I hear while I'm driving is two bickering kids and a screaming 2 year old because he wants to be as loud as the other two.
Cooper tells me I drive as slow as a grandma, that must be on the days that it's quiet in the car, the other times I'm driving as fast as hell to get to my destination so I can get them out.
Say, isn't it time to get Carlee a sibling?

  4. Oh the joys...just you wait. When they turn 5 they know everything. That's a fun stage..that somehow in 5 shorts years they know more than you do after 30...it's darling.
