Chad & I have been happily married for 5 years. Carlee is our 3 year old daughter who fills our days with something new. (Kids are so smart). We have 2 dogs Amos (lab), & Abby (pekingese). And yes I still have my moms cat Sheba. He is about 13 years old. Chad says we have a petting zoo at our house :) We enjoy hanging out with our friends and their kids. Carlee is the only girl in the group of kids. She is going to be a tough chick!!

Happy Mothers Day

Chantel has done it again. Her posts always make me think of something to add to mine. What a great tribute she did for Mothers Day. It made me think of my mom and what a great example she was to me. I found some pictures and thought I should make a tribute to her. What an amazing woman she was. She was always full of life. Always smiling and laughing. Her laugh was so contagious. I remember when she toke me and some friends to see Home Alone in the theater and I told my friends that we needed to sit in the front of the theatre because my moms laugh was so loud and I didn't want to be embarrassed. So we sat in the front and my mom sat in the back. Do you think we could still hear her? You bet ya!!! Every time that I laugh I think of her. :) Happy Mothers Day MOM!!! I sure do miss you. As for the pictures that is me and my mom, I'm not sure how old I am in that pic. Then there is my mom being silly in the bath tub. I had to post that. It shows what a goof ball she is. And then the last pic is of her with her beautiful SMILE!!

  1. Oh Callie this was so sweet to see pictures of Carla. The one in the tub is my favorite it shows exactly how I remember her. I can't explain her laugh either but I can still hear it in my head. She was amazing and I think you are equally as good as mother to Carlee as she was to you. Thanks for sharing what a great memory

  2. This made me cry...I loved your mother. She was so much fun all the time. I long hanging out at your house because she was always so much fun! I can't even imagine how much you miss her...but she did leave me with a lot of wonderful memories. I remember Home Alone..LOL and concerts galore! Miss you Carla

  3. Callie, thank you for hinting I should look at these pics. I can't believe how time flies... wow. I loved the pics you posted of your mother, what a great tribute! I miss the good old days when we would all hang out! I'm becoming more and more grateful for the friends I had growing up, I only wish we could see each other more often. Thanks for the memories Callie! I loved them.
